Where and when?
Classes specifically for those new to Scottish country dancing are held at the Communify Hall, 10 Love St, Spring Hill. This hall is centrally located and there is plenty of parking.
Elementary Classes are held every Monday from 6.00pm – 7.30 pm. You will be expertly taught by our dedicated teachers.
Classes in 2025
In 2025, we will offer three 10-week courses for those new to Scottish country dancing or those wanting to refresh their skills.
Dancers will be accepted into a course during the first two weeks of the course. After that time, they will be referred to a later course.
Each course will be $70 (or $50 for RSCDS members). Fees are non-refundable.

Tips for new dancers
To ensure each class runs smoothly, please:
- arrive on time whenever possible
- remember there is only one teacher, if you don’t understand any instructions, ask the teacher for clarification, not other dancers
- refrain from chatting while the teacher is talking
- let the teacher know if you are unable to do a dance
